Not quite ready for the full in-Library browsing experience? We get it! We’ve got you covered with Express Pick-up, a perfect solution for local seniors, busy families, patrons with health issues or anyone else who prefer not to come into the Library buildings. Express Pick-up is available at the curb for a safe, convenient and worry-free way to pick up your Library materials.
Express Pick-up is offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at both branches of the Library. There are 3 simple steps to get the library materials you need, on the go!
- Search our catalogue or give us a call at 705-728-1010 to make a request for Library materials.
- Wait until you get a text, email or phone notification that your requested materials are available.
- You now have 7 days to pick up your requested items. You can go online to book an appointment for pick-up or call 705-728-1010. We’re happy to help! Just remember to choose your preferred pick-up location – Painswick or Downtown – to keep it easy.
On the day of your Express Pick-up we ask that you bring your Library card or I.D. and arrive outside the Library at the booked time. We’ll be waiting with your requested items in a bag, ready to go!
Please note: items not picked up at the scheduled time will be checked-in and removed from your library account.
