During this temporary facility closure, we are taking several steps to ensure library services remain available. All library material due dates and hold expiration dates have been extended until June 30 - there will be no additional fees or fines on your account. You can renew items by phone at 705-728-1010 or online. 

Our Digital Library is OPEN!

Access our digital library resources from home to explore e-Books, e-Audiobooks, streaming movies, e-Magazines and online classes. If you need help accessing online library services, you can reach us at askus@barrielibrary.ca or send us a direct message on social media.  

NEW! Get a Library Card online: 

Complete our Online Library Card Application Form and you will be contacted to confirm details. Once your account is set up, you will receive an email with your library card number and PIN so you can begin accessing online resources.

Stay Up-to-Date on COVID-19 - and stay home!

To get up-to-date and accurate information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and how you can reduce the spread of the virus, access the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit.
