Rogers experienced a nationwide outage on Friday, July 8, affecting internet and phone customers. All services have been restored as of Monday, July 11.

We are working to get as many services up and running as possible. While some systems are down, staff are able to check items out for you at both locations. 

Downtown Library

  • Backup internet is running and our Wi-Fi is available for the public to use. It may be slower than usual but is currently stable.
  • Phone lines are down
  • Self-checkout machines are working
  • Public computers are available
  • Debit is unavailable, but credit cards and cash will be accepted

Painswick Branch

  • Internet is currently unavailable; staff are working to get the backup internet connected
  • Phone lines are down
  • Self-checkout machines are unavailable
  • Public computers are unavailable
  • Debit/credit are unavailable but cash will be accepted

There is currently no ETA for restoral of Rogers services at this time. We will update this news item if our services change. Thank you for your patience!
