Barrie Winterfest LogoJoin us for Winterfest activities all weekend long on February 1 and 2! Zootek will be visiting with their live animal show, drop in to sign up for the Wild Africa Escape Room, and dance and sing to the African beat at Giraffes Can't Dance Storytime.

Geckos, lizards, snakes and hedgehogs are live at the library! Come learn about the wild creatures of Africa with Zootek. Free tickets available 30 minutes prior on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Wild Africa Escape Room

Each puzzle will take you to a country or region of Africa - the plains of the Serengeti, the jungles of Madagascar or the heat of the desert! Fun for the whole family. Space is limited; sign up at the door. Children must be accompanied by an adult. 

Sew a Mug Rug for the Hot Cocoa Trail

Join us in the Collaboratory every Saturday in February to sew a quick little mug rug you can bring along on the Hot Cocoa Trail hosted by select downtown merchants and restaurants.
